Arrow ECS EMEA is currently seeking for an EMEA Sales Manager (m/f) for the Networking and Security division based in Europe, tbd.

Main duties and responsibilities:
The European Sales manager is responsible for driving, managing and expanding the overall strategic relationship, ensuring business alignment, executive sponsorship and development of one or several vendors inside Arrow ECS. Your ability for conceptual thinking, your proactivity and vigorousness will contribute to success. You see it as a challenge to continually develop the business and you are ahead of the market.

Key deliverables will include but are not limited to:

  • Development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Develop both local and executive level relationships
  • Manage vendor relationships at multiple levels
  • Manage the local execution of EMEA wide initiatives for each strategic program, market segment and product line
  • Drive forecasting process for vendors in scope
  • Provide support and direction to local country brand leaders
  • Work closely with all internal departments within Arrow ECS EMEA towards the achievement of financial and business goals


Qualifications and requirements:
The candidate should as a minimum have the following experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience ideally in the Networking or security industry
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the market Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including setting quotas and objectives
  • Demonstrate that they have worked effectively within a team and on their own
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a matrix organization

  • Strong degree of structure and organization
  • Ability to enthuse, to connect and mobilize people involved
  • Stress-resistant
  • Good understanding of solution selling and the total value of an IT solution
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the full needs of the wider business in relation to the sales organization


Skills:

  • Fluent in English and ideally another large European language but not compulsory
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Good IT skills within main software productivity packages (MS Office etc.)

The Sales manager will be part of the Netsec Division reporting to the Director and head of Networking and Security for EMEA. Travel is estimated to take up to 40-50% of working time. Main Purpose of the role

Centralize HR Programs Support

Key Responsibilities
All tasks to be carried out in a Total Quality manner, consistent with the Company culture.

  • To support HR programs delivery (EPR, Goaling, Merit Review, Talent review) in all areas to reinforce HR effectiveness and consistency of approach
  • Under the supervision of COEs, to prepare and send all communication materials for all HR Programs
  • To facilitate HR Programs trainings for the HR community and Managers
  • To participate in various HR project work as required, particularly relating to the development of solutions to minimize transactional tasks for HRBP, evolution of HR, practices and training to support changing requirements in EMEA region.
  • Based on COEs policies and guidelines, to propose any enhancements to operationalize required activities to support to the HR Community.
  • To interface with Corporate and COEs to ensure HR Program delivery

Role

As the successful candidate you will join the Arrow HR Team at a period of exciting change where you will have the opportunity to assist in the transformation of the current HR back office model, creating a business agnostic HR Service Centre for all administrative functions with a view to integrate further service lines into a best in class customer focused function.

The HR Service Centre Team Manager will manage, lead and develop the HR first line support service, ensuring the team is providing professional and effective advice, guidance and support service to internal and external customers in relation to administrative procedures. You will also be resolving more complex queries as escalated by the team in relation to HR policies, procedures and statutory requirements to support the HR Business Partnering team. Responsible for a team of 3 HR Service Centre Administrators across 3 geographical sites you will also be required to assist with the daily workload activities when appropriate.

In addition you will ensure that accurate and timely HR metrics are produced and developed as required by the business, including HR Service Desk related metrics (including feedback and customer usage, and weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management information reports).

Furthermore you will help identify areas of continuous improvement or added value in relation to all HR transactional, processes and procedures, designing and delivering the required changes and escalating these as appropriate. You will also ensure the team are effectively trained and developed and that there are appropriate work structures in place to support this, including standard operating procedures.

Although based in Harrogate, the role will require regular travel to our offices Harlow and Braintree until such time as the team is geographically centralised.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will be CIPD qualified, and have previous experience of leading a HR transactional / administration / shared services team.

With excellent interpersonal skills with a customer centric approach and ability to build effective working relationships, you will be resourceful with the ability to solve problems independently and able to identify improvements and design and deliver change as appropriate.

Additionally you will have up to date knowledge and understanding of employment law and its practical and appropriate application. You will also have the ability to organise and prioritise both your own time and the team‘s time effectively, forward plan and ensure that a variety of tasks with competing deadlines are dealt with appropriately.

You may have experience of the following: HR Service Desk Team Manager, Human Resources, Team Leader, Shared Services, Customer Service, Employment Law, HR Manager etc.

Hours of Work
The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch, however due to the nature of this role flexibility will be required in order to meet the needs of the role.

An exciting opportunity in a rapidly expanding area of the business, this role involves establishing and managing the education partner network.
